Group Info

  • General Pickett’s Buffet accepts reservations by phone or email for groups of 15 or more people. Reservations are not accepted via our Facebook page, as it is managed remotely.
  • All group pricing includes not only the buffet, but also non-alcoholic beverages, sales tax, and gratuity. Beginning 3/15/23, new group rates will go into effect– please call or email for further information.
  • One driver and one escort per bus are always complimentary.
  • Confirmed reservations will be held for 15 minutes past the contracted time only, unless you contact us to see if other arrangements can be made. If you need to make changes the day of your reservation, please call– we are not able to monitor the email constantly, so it is not the best way of reaching us for urgent matters.
  • All reservations are based on a one-hour seating (from initial reservation time), unless otherwise arranged by the Reservations department.
  • Payment is due at the time of service- a 25% deposit will be required with the signing of 2023 contracts. We accept cash, all major credit cards, and company/organization checks. Personal checks are not accepted. If you need to arrange for prior payment, please call. Your group will be charged only for the final count at time of service.
  • Students and children must always be supervised.
  • Please note– when we are made aware of allergies and other dietary restrictions, we will do our best to advise safe options. We are quite familiar with this subject and happy to discuss any concerns with you. However, our guests are ultimately responsible for their own choices. Special order “allergy plates” are available, with advance notice only- we require at least 24 hours notice.
  • There is currently no cancellation fee, but we do appreciate being given adequate notice, whenever possible. If you are not able to provide at least 48 hours notice, you must CALL to cancel- please do not email within that timeframe.
  • General Pickett’s Buffet is handicap-accessible (although the gift shop is not) and has ample bus parking in the rear of the building.
  • We welcome your calls and emails, and are always happy to answer any questions you may have! Please remember, though, that there are times that the restaurant is very busy (and noisy!) and we may have to ask to call you back when we are better able to give you our full attention.
